Abstract Submission
The Program Committee invites you to sumbit an abstract that summarizes your original work. Please submit abstracts in MS word no later than April 18th . You will be notified of acceptance by May 19th.

Abstract submission details:

  • Abstract length should be 250 words excluding title and author names.
  • Font should be Times New Roman
  • Margins should be 1 inch
  • Please underline the name of the person(s) presenting
  • Include the names of all authors
  • Please do not include degrees
  • Title of the paper should be capitalized
  • Please attach a copy in pdf format as well.
  • Except for reviews, please organize abstract as follows: Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusions
  • If you have not presented previously, please attach a CV at the time of abstract submission
  • Entries may be edited after submission until May 19th

Abstracts will be published in the conference program and will be available on the HHV-6 Foundation web site. Authors of accepted abstracts may be given the option to have their submissions included in the conference proceedings, which will be published in a medline journal and indexed. The 2006 conference proceedings were published in the Journal of Clinical Virology.

 

 

Posters
Posters should fit in an area that is 4’ high and 4 ’ wide, and will be affixed to board with pins. Participants who sumbit abstracts for poster presentation are expected to present their work at a scheduled  poster session.

Trainee Grants
The HHV-6 Foundation and Organizing Committee would like to promote the careers of students and young investigators. The conference will include a competition for the best scientific work by students and postdoctoral fellows.

Abstracts submitted by these young scientists will be judged in a separate category. Ten top trainees will receive $750 travel grants based on their abstracts (oral or poster).
